To add to the book there has been a blog site created "Career Sofa". The blog allows an open forum for personal experiences, topics and issues to be discussed where everyone has an opportunity to add their thoughts.
Poem, Introspection, Prompt
The book is designed to assist self enlightenment; where reading the poems engages and motivates you to actions and planning. Every poem is followed by an Introspective section where the reader is asked to writre response to various questions. The readers responses help establish where you are and what you need to do next.
The book does not address the sutel neuances of every situation and work environment.
That’s what the blog is for, tell someone about your specific scenario and wait
for the responses. While there are some rules of thumb; the application and treatment
can vary, just as people do.

You have worked this job for twenty years or more
Watching your family grow and disappear
until they were there no more.
Did you spend the time they needed for mentoring, coaching
and developing them into this person they have become?
Did the weeks pass you by like the flow of a river on a warm
brisk spring night?
Was the money you made worth the sacrifice of your life, while you sit here lonely without your loved ones in sight.
Remember the things you taught them, to work hard each day.

My job creates a path to earn my pay,
It leads me to work an eight hour day,
My actions are those of no variety,
And they create no imaginary activities.
The work is dull and mundane at times,
Filled with useless problems and uneventful timelines,
Yet I return each day in order to release
My personal financial anxieties

Help Wanted - Leader
We are looking for a leader to be dedicated,
enthusiastic and concerned
About his team and their work environment.
He must have the proper levels of intelligence,
especially concerning the businesses he leads.
He must be bold, energetic and dynamic
When he is called to motivate
and inspire talent and actions.
He must also be ready for sacrifices.
He must have the strength to endure
hours of interactions
with government officials, stakeholders, and staff.
